MMTP (Methadone Maintenance)

Methadone maintenance is the most clinically effective and successful treatment for individuals struggling with opioid dependency (Heroin, Vicodin, OxyContin, etc.). Each program is medically supervised and provides individual & group counseling, psychosocial education and relapse prevention planning, health assessments, vocational education, and medical care.

The focus of our programs is for the individual to regain a stable life style through the administration of methadone and use of our support services. Statistics show that positive outcomes including improved physical and emotional health, higher rates of employment, and cessation of criminal activity are achieved when an opiate dependent individual is stabilized on methadone. These positive changes are beneficial to the patient, his or her family, and the community.

If you or someone who know has been unsuccessful in achieving abstinence through in- or out-patient detoxification from opioids, our Staten Island or Brooklyn programs may be the right choice to assist in returning to a stable life. Please note that each program also has the ability to slowly detox patients from opioids once a stabilizing dose level is achieved should the individual so desire.
