This 24-bed variable length of stay program provides a structured environment for an individual just beginning their recovery or who has experienced a recent relapse and needs to re-connect with their program. Alcohol and other drugs use can create multiple problems that touch upon all aspects of a person's life including the physical and emotional health of the individual and their family members, separation from a spouse, children, and other loved ones, job jeopardy or loss, isolation from friends, and loss of home. Chemical dependency robs one's healthy sense of self and removes the meaning of one's life.
A comfortable environment in which the process of change can begin is provided. Individualized treatment begins upon admission when each patient is assigned a Primary Counselor. Clients learn new coping skills that aid the individual in living an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle long after their inpatient stay ends on the unit.
Our program activities include the following:
Group counseling Individual counseling Family Education Relapse Prevention strategies Aftercare planning Activities therapy (to learn to enjoy an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle) Self-help group attendance Take-home Medication Program Aftercare planning begins upon admission. Continuity of care is stressed with referrals made to the appropriate level of care and services based upon the individual patient's needs.
